Programs and bulletins

Together with Köping-Kolsva OK, the EDOC OC arrange EDOC (European Deaf Orienteering Championship), EDJOC (European Deaf Junior Championship) and DMOWC (Deaf Master Orienteering World Cup) at the same time as Swedish Master Championships take place. The Swedish Master Championships is arranged by Köping-Kolsva OK on behalf of Swedish Orienteering Federation.

Bulletin 1

Middle

The middle distance takes place 29 August in the arena called "Körtinge".

The arena “Körtinge” is located around 20 minutes from the hotel in Köping. The arena offers you a beautiful forest to compete in, ‘Broskogen’. The arena will be used for both middle and long distance. Terrain description Woodland with a few elements of new and old cutting area. Mostly slightly hilly terrain with areas with moderately hilly terrain with relatively detailed elevation areas. Good accessibility, the terrain consists large parts of fully-grown forest with good visibility. Areas with poorer runability exists. The undervegetation makes the terrain somewhat rugged.  

Long

The middle distance takes place 30 August in the arena called "Körtinge".

Relay

Relay for teams competing in the 9th European Deaf Orienteering Championships and 4th European Deaf Junior Orienteering Championships will take place on 31 August. For participants in the World Deaf Master Orienteering Cup it is possible to run an open course.

The arena for the relay on 31 August is close to the accomodation area, around 10 minutes from the hotel. Terrain description Typical Västmanland (actual county) terrain with moderate to weak hilly. The terrain is mostly easily accessible. Areas with dense vegetation, thinning or cutting areas exist. In parts of the area there are a few numbers of jogging tracks and several trails.
